City Tour
Be ready to board a bus early in the morning for a City Tour, there will be three stops: Miraflores Locks, Abou Saad Shrine Center and Grand Lodge of Panama Temple.
Miraflores Locks: Part of the Panama Canal, one of the modern world’s seven wonders, opened in 1914. Visitors can watch ships passing through the locks from the observation deck, then enjoy a 30-minute 3D IMAX film narrated by Morgan Freeman about the canal’s history, beginning in the 16th century.
Abou Saad Shrine Center: Visit the historic building, formerly the Albrook Air Force Base Officer’s Club, built in the early 1930s. Explore its offices, ballrooms, and Lodge Room, featuring portraits of Past Grand Masters and District Grand Masters, as well as a century-old Treasurer’s Office chair. The visit ends at the FEZ Club, the Shriners’ bar, for refreshing drinks and beer.
Grand Lodge of Panama Masonic Temple: Visit this 100-year-old historic building near Casco Viejo, featuring three lodge rooms, a banquet hall, a gallery of Past Grand Masters, and a collection of Masonic memorabilia. After the visit, the bus returns you to the hotel for lunch, drinks, and some rest before the next activities.
Casco Viejo Nite Tour
Brief History:
After Henry Morgan’s attack on Panama la Vieja in 1671, the city was burned by its own settlers to prevent looting. In 1673, a new city was built about 8 miles west, now known as Casco Viejo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site featuring Spanish and French architecture.
During the walk, you can see historic landmarks such as the Cathedral, Flat Arch, Jesuit Convent, San José Church with its Golden Altar, and remains of the old city walls. Its charming brick-paved streets have a unique atmosphere reminiscent of New Orleans’ French Quarter.

Embera Village Tour
Embark on a 6–8 hour adventure in Chagres National Park and discover the fascinating culture of the Emberá community.
The tour begins with a traditional canoe ride along the Chagres River, followed by a short rainforest hike to a beautiful hidden waterfall where you can swim.
At the Emberá village, you’ll learn about their traditions, history, music, dances, and handicrafts, followed by a traditional lunch of fresh fish or chicken, patacones, and seasonal fruit wrapped in banana leaves.
Important: This is a real jungle experience, not a theme park. You may encounter rivers, waterfalls, animals, birds, and reptiles. Follow your guide’s instructions at all times, especially with children, and wear appropriate footwear.
What to bring: Lightweight clothing that can get wet, swimsuit, towel, comfortable shoes or sandals with good grip, insect repellent, sunscreen, and cash in US dollars for local handicrafts.

Farewell Dinner
Enjoy a traditional Panamanian buffet featuring a variety of local dishes, including sancocho, ceviche, tamal de olla, ropa vieja, guandú-coconut rice, fresh fish, beef, pork, chicken, sweet plantains, and desserts.
The evening will also feature a traditional Panamanian Diablito show and the presentation of our PD Ed Beasley (RIP) Man of the Year Machete Award, honoring a fellow Jester for his and attendance and loyalty to our unique and traditional yearly event .
Dress code: Proper attire is required. Please, wear slacks— NO SHORTS.

Nite a Phun
Hop in a bus for nightlife enjoyment, it will take you to two of the oldest and traditional cabaret shows around Rio Abajo Township, La Gruta Azul and Paris Club.
La Gruta Azul opened its doors in 1914, the same year the Panama Canal opened its transits across the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. Paris Club did it in the 1960’s, both are icons never to miss, a visit is worth more than you can imagine.
Watch beautiful young ladies dance in the stage, true and live enjoyment for your eyes. Off stage they walk around, you may ask any of them to do a table dance in front of you or may sit for a while at your table. But beware, if they ask you to invite them for a drink, rejecting any offer to share from your bottle, they are quite expensive, at least $15 a shot, if you are carried to buy more than one don’t be surprised when you get the tab, it may run for over a $100.

Ride around town in a “Chiva Parrandera” a colorful, traditional-style party bus used as a mobile venue for celebrations, nightlife tours, and group events. These vehicles feature vibrant custom seating, sound systems, and dynamic lighting.

Son of a Ditch Degree
Our signature degree based in the Panama Canal construction era, was first played in the late 1990’s in the 4th Country Ceremonial held in Panama City when the Panamanian Flag joined those of Canada, Mexico and USA as the fourth flag on the Shriners and never adopted by Abou Saad.
Back in 2013 it was included as the closing activity on Saturday repeated ever since.
The journey takes the candidates throughout a jungle, meet the great boa, greet the Fuckarwi Chief, after the jungle walk, go through a simulated canal transit, step into the Atlantic Ocean, up Gatun Locks, through Gatun Lake, Pedro Miguel Locks, Miraflores Lake ending in the Pacific Ocean.
It is given free of charge to first offenders.
Tobacco & Rum
If you are a Cigar & Rum lover don’t miss this opportunity!
For centuries Panama has been a rum producing country, in the past two decades the rum industry has evolved from locally sold rums to specialized high priced world quality bottles.
Exports to several countries continue to rise, some keep the original brand name, other are sold in barrels to customers who brand their own names with the condition that a label clearly states its origin, Panama.
It will be a tasteful afternoon to discover the characteristics of three brands with different aging processes, the most common are Solera and Single Barrel, these two categories will be explained in full.
Smell, sip slowly, enjoy flavor, smoothness, and other characteristics while smoking an imported cigar, a must when tasting fine rums for added enjoyment.
At the end, we will raffle each bottle for a token.
Sisimake Degree
This new charged activity was first put into a play in 2023, following The Son of a Ditch Degree’s based on Panamanian history i n a play based upon the Guna Indian Culture.
The Gunas live in a 365-island archipelago in the Atlantic Coast East of the Panama Canal, an island for each day of the year.
The Gunas are an ancient culture with their own rules governed by Sagilas or Caciques, any dispute is resolved by the General Council and are final.
The plot is about a young man and a girl who have extramarital sex, the girl gets pregnant and her father a former Sagila takes the case to the council.
